Jones Foster bolsters real estate practice group
Jones Foster recently announced that Kristine “Krissy” A. Hosman has joined the firm’s real estate practice group as an associate attorney. Hosman, who will be based in the West Palm Beach office, is the seventh attorney to join Jones Foster this year amid a period of growth across multiple practice groups. Hosman represents commercial real estate developers, investors, and property owners in a wide range of transactions. Jones Foster is a full-service commercial and private client law firm headquartered in West Palm Beach, with offices in Palm Beach and Jupiter.
The Carlisle Palm Beach welcomes leaders after change in ownership
The Carlisle Palm Beach, a luxury senior living community built in 1999, has long been known for its resort-style setting and vibrant lifestyle. Earlier this year, Liberty Senior Living assumed ownership, bringing with it a strong vision for the community. That vision is now being carried forward by three respected leaders: Jillian Castellano, senior sales and marketing director; Donna Mulligan, director of sales and marketing; and Lisa Davis, campus executive director. For Castellano and Mulligan, the return is especially meaningful. Both previously held leadership roles at The Carlisle before departing in 2019. Davis, who has more than 35 years of senior living leadership experience, is new to the community but has worked alongside Castellano in the past. The Carlisle Palm Beach offers 275 upscale residences on more than seven acres of lush landscaping, with views of the Atlantic ocean and the Intracoastal.
Moisand Fitzgerald Tamayo, wealth management firm, opens West Palm Beach office
Wealth management firm Moisand Fitzgerald Tamayo, LLC recently announced the opening of a new office in West Palm Beach. The firm was recently named to the 2025 CNBC FA 100 and has previously been lauded as one of America’s top firms in several publications including USA Today and Forbes. The firm is purely independent, 100% employee-owned, fee-only and never receives commissions or other third-party compensation. Most clients of the firm have between $1 million and $10 million of investment assets. The office is led by Brad Brescia, CFP® who serves as a family CFO, guiding clients through cash flow planning, retirement preparedness, investment strategy, estate and trust considerations, and multi-generational wealth.
Boutique investment firm names lead of new Boca Raton office
Firm Foundation Family Wealth recently announced that Jonathan Gassman, a nationally recognized wealth strategist and third-generation tax advisor, has joined the firm as managing director and private wealth advisor. He will lead the firm’s new Boca Raton office, which opened on Oct. 1. Gassman brings more than three decades of experience as a trusted advisor. Firm Foundation Family Wealth is a boutique wealth advisory firm affiliated with independent registered investment advisor, NewEdge Advisors.
PBC Chamber of Commerce president, CEO to chair ArtServe
ArtServe, Fort Lauderdale’s award-winning arts incubator, has named Douglas C. Evans, president and CEO of the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce, as chair of its board. A past ArtServe board member, Evans has built a respected career in both the arts and business sectors. At the Palm Beach Chamber, he has played a key role in promoting regional growth and innovation, while remaining an active supporter of cultural advancement throughout South Florida. Named a “Top-Rated Nonprofit” by GreatNonprofits, Fort Lauderdale-based ArtServe is an award-winning arts incubator advancing the arts for social good as a creative laboratory and hub for experimental artists committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Holland & Knight partner elected to Federal Bar Association board
Holland & Knight partner Andrew Loewenstein was recently elected to the board of directors of the national Federal Bar Association and sworn in at the FBA’s National Meeting and Convention in September. He was previously president of the FBA’s Palm Beach Chapter. Loewenstein is based in the firm’s West Palm Beach office and concentrates his practice in complex healthcare, business, and labor and employment matters.
Greenacres deputy mayor joins Housing Leadership Council
Deputy Mayor of Greenacres and executive director of the Middle School of the Arts Foundation, Susy Diaz was added to the Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County board of directors. The Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County is a coalition of community leaders who work to sustain the economic viability of the county by making housing for all Palm Beach County residents financially feasible and sustainable.
