Major home moving group Movera has launched its own online academy to provide conveyancing and other skills training, aimed at improving employee development. The academy was created in response to the lack of dedicated online training for conveyancers.
The launch follows Movera’s rebranding last autumn, which unified seven home moving brands, including ONP Solicitors, CLG, and Grindeys. The platform features an extensive course catalogue, offering employees access to over 45 courses on a wide range of topics, from management development to IT training. This personalised learning experience allows employees to tailor their training to their specific needs and interests.
To accommodate various learning styles, the materials are delivered through multiple mediums, including video, e-learning, guides, quizzes, and both in-person and webinar instructor-led classes. The platform’s intuitive design and user-friendly interface are accessible on computers, mobiles, and tablets, making learning inclusive for all employees.
Chris Harvey, Movera’s head of learning and development, said: “We wanted to create a platform that enables individuals to take ownership of their professional development journey, encouraging the continual learning of our workforce. The academy marks a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and upskilling.”
Natalie Brown, Movera’s operations support manager, praised the platform: “The new training platform is so easy to use, with tons of useful and insightful learning catalogues for everyone to have access to anytime. This is hugely beneficial to further expand your knowledge, and you can do them in your own time, so it is very flexible based on your circumstances. You can tell the Movera learning and development team have put a lot of thought and knowledge into building the platform to ensure all colleagues are catered for, regardless of their role in the business, which is not something we have ever had before from previous training platforms. Thank you and well done to the learning and development team for bringing this brilliant resource to life for Movera.”
The academy is designed to be a dynamic learning ecosystem that encourages collaboration and engagement. Features such as forums, leaderboards, and badges allow employees to connect with peers, share experiences, and celebrate achievements.
