Delray Beach PR firm to represent Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational
BlueIvy Communications, a leading boutique communications and public relations agency with offices in West Palm Beach and Delray Beach, recently announced that it has been selected as the local PR agency of record for the inaugural James Hardie™ Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational. The tournament will see legends of the Pro Football Hall of Fame compete alongside the PGA Tour Champions legends from March 31 to April 6, 2025, at the Old Course at Broken Sound in Boca Raton. BlueIvy Communications is responsible for creating content and marketing in addition to securing local media coverage for all on and off-course happenings.
Center for Child Counseling names director of marketing, communications
Center for Child Counseling recently announced Hannah DeMarco’s promotion to director of marketing and communications. She will continue to grow and lead the nonprofit agency’s outreach and communications efforts in advancing their mission to provide hope and trauma-informed care and support to children and families. DeMarco received her undergraduate degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and is pursuing a Master of Public Health in Social and Behavioral Sciences from University of Florida. DeMarco has served as CFCC’s marketing and communications coordinator since 2021. The organization has been building the foundation for playful, healthful, and hopeful living for children and families in Palm Beach County since 1999.
Habitat for Humanity director selected to join elite county group
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County is pleased to announce that Kristen Bardin, director of advancement of the local non-profit has been selected to be part of Leadership Palm Beach County’s Engage class of 2025. Leadership Palm Beach County is a nonprofit organization that brings together leaders from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to build and steward a vibrant, interconnected community. Every year a class of community leaders from diverse backgrounds is selected to participate in the Engage program.
NAMI bolsters board with three additions in 2024
NAMI Palm Beach County, which provides free education, support and advocacy for people living with mental health conditions and their families, added three members to its board of directors this year. In August, the local NAMI board voted to approve the addition of Katie Liogier-Weyback, chief executive officer of NeuroBehavioral Hospitals, which operates hospitals in West Palm Beach and Boynton Beach. Gabrielle Torres, a licensed clinical therapist and crisis intervention team coordinator at the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, joined the board in May. Mary Anne Gioia, a small business banking manager for Bank of America, joined in February. NAMI Palm Beach County is the 41-year-old local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s preeminent mental health nonprofit.
Tax, wealth planning attorney joins Fox Rothschild in West Palm Beach
Fox Rothschild recently announced that William M. Bromley has joined its West Palm Beach office as counsel in the taxation & wealth planning department. Bromley provides practical solutions for trust and estate administration, including minor guardianship matters, helping clients settle disputes without unnecessary litigation. When litigation is unavoidable, however, Bromley relies on his extensive litigation experience to advocate for his clients in court. Fox Rothschild LLP is a national law firm with 1,000 attorneys coast to coast.
Property management firm earns national accreditation for fifth year
Close-Up Home Watch has earned accreditation from the National Home Watch Association for the fifth year. The association was formed in 2009 in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for home watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada. Owned by Ron Cook and founded 2019, Close-Up Home Watch serves Fort Pierce, Hutchinson Island, Jensen Beach, Hobe Sound, Stuart, Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, and Port St. Lucie.
