Human Resources at Illinois State University announced LinkedIn Learning as a new personal and professional development resource in Illinois State University’s e-learning portfolio in 2021. As this Microsoft-partnered platform has grown, so has our footprint of learning on campus.

About LinkedIn Learning

LinkedIn Learning is an award-winning industry leader in online training, with a digital library of more than 16,000 courses, covering a wide range of topics that encompass equity and inclusion, technical aptitude and application, artificial intelligence, leadership, mindfulness, and so much more. Courses are accessible 24/7 from a desktop or mobile device allowing for self-paced and on-demand learning and access is integrated via central login through My.IllinoisState.edu.

Accessing your account and getting started

Visit LinkedIn Learning by logging in directly from My.IllinoisState.edu (within the “online tools” or directly from the main “search”). Watch an entire course or individual videos—some are as short as four or five minutes. Bookmark courses that suit your interests, keep track of the courses taken and receive a certificate when a course is completed. Those with a LinkedIn profile will also be allowed to integrate learning with that profile.
