SENH Habitat for Humanity’s appoints new member of the Board of Director

PORTSMOUTH — Southeast New Hampshire Habitat for Humanity, a local affordable housing nonprofit, announced the appointment of Tess Diver to its Board of Directors. As SENH Habitat embarks on its latest strategic planning and growth initiatives, we are thrilled to have Tess on board. She is already generously supporting our annual fundraising events through in-kind donations.

Diver serves as the Assistant Vice President of User Experience Research and Design at Southern New Hampshire University and is the proud mother of two young children. Her passion lies in creating lasting, positive changes in communities. She believes that access to safe, affordable housing is a fundamental right, and Habitat’s mission and impactful work align with her personal goals of empowering individuals and families to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through homeownership.

With years of experience working with Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans and Mississippi, Diver brings valuable knowledge to the table. Her dedication to helping those in need is not only a personal mission but will also be a tremendous asset to the organization’s affordable housing programs. Diver has already joined the Garden Party committee and is poised to play a significant role in advancing SENH Habitat’s in-house IT department.

Partners Bank promotes Karyn Scharf-Morin to Chief Operations Officer

SANFORD, Maine –Karyn Scharf Morin as she has been promoted to Chief Operations Officer of Partners Bank and will remain on the Senior Management team.

In Morin’s role as COO, she will assume leadership responsibility for Loan and Deposit Operations, Customer Care, Branch Operations, Customer Experience and Facilities.

“Karyn has always been a critical member of the Partners Bank team, and I am extremely confident that she will continue her track record of success in this new role,” Anthony Cataldi, who will be the new Partners Bank President effective June 30, expressed his support of Morin. “She will bring not only excellent analytical ability and exceptional leadership ability into this role but also will integrate customer experience into our operational processes.”

Morin joined Partners Bank in 2016 as the Senior Retail Banker/Retail Department Manager. In that role, she oversaw strategic direction and business development of retail lending and underwriting. She quickly cemented herself as a key player in the growth of the Bank.

Her incisive skills propelled her to become the SVP, Chief Deposit Officer in 2019. In that role, Morin was responsible for maximizing the bank’s deposit base by overseeing all deposit-related activities, including product development, pricing, marketing and customer relationship management. Her propensity to charge head-first toward challenges and develop successful strategies helped her with her success as the SVP, Chief Deposit Officer.

Morin has also made great strides outside of Partners Bank. Previously the Treasurer of the Board of Trustees for the Ogunquit Museum of American Art, she has recently been elected as the President of the Board. Her passion for preserving and promoting historical and modern art and dedication to improving the community aligns with the values of Partners Bank.

Morin and her husband, Roger, live in South Berwick.

HRCU strengthens leadership team with key promotions

GREENLAND – Holy Rosary Credit Union announces it has promoted James Auger to Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Special Accounts, Chris Maxwell to Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Human Resources and Sydney Albee to Director of Marketing.

“These key promotions reflect our commitment to fostering talent from within,” said HRCU President and CEO Brian Hughes. “James, Chris and Sydney all play an integral role in supporting our growing membership, including our recent expansion into the Greenland, NH market. We are excited to watch them thrive in their new roles.”

In his new leadership role, Auger will lead HRCU’s Special Accounts team. Auger plays a pivotal role by implementing effective strategies and other techniques tailored to assist our members during times of financial hardship.

Auger is a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) through the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Mutual Group and holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Southern New Hampshire University.

As AVP of Human Resources, Maxwell is responsible for fostering a positive employee culture and developing policies that embody the ‘people helping people’ credit union mantra. Maxwell oversees HRCU’s staffing and talent recruitment as well as staff onboarding and training.

Maxwell is a certified professional through the Society of Human Resources (SHRM) and holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Daniel Webster College.

As Director of Marketing, Albee will lead HRCU’s expanding marketing and community engagement efforts to improve HRCU’s position in current and new markets. During her tenure at HRCU, including her time as a Senior Marketing & Digital Media Specialist, she has gained a deep understanding of the organization’s strategic goals, products, services, unique value proposition and business objectives.

Albee holds a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Arts Management from American University.
