Eric Gardner joins family law group at Shaheen & Gordon
CONCORD — Shaheen & Gordon, P.A. is happy to announce the addition of Attorney Eric Gardner to the firm’s family law group. Gardner will be based out of the firm’s Concord office.
Gardner is a recent graduate of the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. Prior to his second year, Gardner was accepted into the prestigious Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program, a competency-based program that provides students with practical skills and a client-ready legal education. Through his experiences, Gardner developed a passion for family law and guiding people through the complexities of domestic relations matters.
“Eric showed great promise as a Legal Extern at our firm,” says Tracey Goyette Cote, Chair of the firm’s family law practice group. “We are thrilled to officially welcome him to the team, where he will be an asset for our practice and our clients.”
While in law school, Gardner completed training on trauma-informed lawyering for domestic violence advocacy to compassionately and effectively connect with his clients. His dedication to the legal profession and community service has led him to frequently serve as a volunteer judge for the American Mock Trial Association.
Kennebunk Savings hires Tim Doolin in residential lending
KENNEBUNK, Maine — Kennebunk Savings has hired Tim Doolin as a new Residential Lending Officer. Doolin is serving the Bank’s customers in Wells, Sanford, and Kennebunk as well as Seacoast New Hampshire.
“Tim has been working for banks and brokers for the last dozen years – he has a deep well of experience in all forms of residential lending,” said Matt Le, First Vice President, Retail Lending Director. “Conventional, portfolio, government, jumbo – Tim knows it all, and he knows what works best for his customers.” Doolin’s past experience includes two years as a Senior Home Lending Advisor at JP Morgan Chase—where he was the firm’s only lender in the state of Maine. Before that, he served as Credit Solutions Advisor for Bank of America in the Greater Boston area for over 6 years, where he achieved membership in the President’s Club in 2019.
Doolin says he enjoys helping people better their financial standing and assist with the biggest purchase they will make in their life. “I take great pride in meeting people where they are in the process, understanding their needs, and delivering for them with high-touch and high-quality service.”

New Leadership appointments to MVSB Board of Directors
PORTSMOUTH — MVSB (Meredith Village Savings Bank) announced the appointments of James (Jim) Dirubbo and Michelle McEwen as Chair and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors. Dirubbo, who previously served as Vice Chair, succeeds Michael O’Leary who will remain a Director for the Bank.
James (Jim) Dirubbo, CPA was appointed to the MVSB Board in 2004 and to the Board of New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp, the shared services organization with which MVSB is affiliated, in 2013. He is a retired Certified Public Accountant with Malone, Dirubbo & Company and has supported Lakes Region businesses and individuals with their accounting, tax and auditing needs since 1982. Dirubbo also serves on the Board of the Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation and has previously served on the Boards for Lakes Region United Way, Greater Laconia VNA & Hospice, Belknap Economic Development Council, and LRGHealthcare.
Michelle McEwen was appointed to the MVSB Board in 2009 and to the Board of New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp in 2013, where she currently serves as Vice Chair. She is the CEO & President of Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, N.H. She joined Speare in 1992 as their Chief Financial Officer and was appointed to CEO in 2000. Under her leadership, Speare has been recognized as a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital by the National Rural Health Association several times over the years. She is active with a number of healthcare and community-based organizations such as NH Hospital Association, the Foundation for Healthy Communities and the Central NH Health Partnership.
