Rarely is there near universal agreement on anything, but there is on this: 91% of Learning and Development professionals agree that ongoing education is more crucial than ever. Furthermore, 88% of organizations are worried about retaining employees, with many looking at expanding their portfolio of learning opportunities as their primary strategy to keep talent engaged.
Rather than depend on their employers, employees are taking the reins of their own professional development and looking at further learning to help them advance in their career. For once, the mutual focus on learning and professional development is a win-win for both employees and their organization.

The report indicates that mentorship ranks third—alongside career development plans—among strategies employed by organizations with advanced career development programs. Notably, over half (55%) of these organizations have established mentorship initiatives, highlighting its critical role in nurturing talent.
